Participants learned how to manage branches, merge updates, and confidently resolve merge conflicts, ensuring smooth collaboration within teams. The course also explored advanced collaboration tools such as adding collaborators to repositories, managing organizations and teams, and setting up permissions. An exciting part of the workshop involved creating and customizing GitHub Profile READMEs (using tools like GPRM), helping attendees showcase their projects and skills professionally. Additionally, participants earned GitHub achievements, motivating them to adopt best practices in software development and teamwork.
